The world's symbol of New Year's, the Times Square Ball drop, has been rousing revelers for 100 years. But this year, millions will witness this long-time favorite in a whole new way, as Zambelli Fireworks lights up the night with a brand new modern display that is truly the one of a kind.
The world will thunder into New Years with Zambelli's booming fireworks display that will be louder, brighter, and more impactful than ever! "There will be 168 shots in the first five seconds of the show! My concept for this design is to create motion effects (waving back and forth) and color morphing effects," said the show designer. "Red to Orange to Yellow to Green to purple in the first 12 Seconds then to Rainbow or variegated effects for the remainder of the display. I also will be using a layering effect."
He goes on to explain that he will utilize different sizes of effects that range from 60 Ft to 300 Ft. The layering helps create a dense and intense show along with a more artistic display. "We are using new custom effect Fan Racks built to my specifications that will add more outward firings to make things wider than ever before. We are also utilizing 160 degree fan racks to create a more spherical display in conjunction with the motion or chasing effects."
Festivities will begin with pyrotechnic effects for the Ball Raising at 6:00 PM and of course the most-anticipated show in the world begins at Midnight. It takes 5 Days preparation on Site to setup the display and 2 Days to set the entire products used for the pyrotechnics.
Some Effect consists of the following:
- Star Mines - Several different formations
- Comets- Several different formations
- Small caliber colored Crossettes
- Saprkle Cannons
